Considering that Doncaster is a poor northern town the town centre isn't too bad; it's lacking a few basic facilities though.
A cinema
A cheap supermarket
A town square
More free public toilets
More seats in the indoor shopping centre
The town centre certainly doesn't need any more pubs/bars, restaurants or takeaway food establishments though.

Meadowhall killed off Rotherham town centre.
Where do you do your food shopping then? In Doncaster? I just wonder where you could find inexpensive but fresh produce and such.

Doncaster has a very good market, and still has four frozen food shops which seem to have noticed the gap in the market and seem to be selling more and more tinned and non-frozen produce.
