I'm still stiff and aching after Tuesday's fifteen mile walk in Derbyshire; probably even more so than yesterday.
Highlights of the walk:
Chatsworth Hall and Park
The Emperor Fountain
Deer in the park
The estate village of Edensor

15 miles! Now that is a heck of a long walk no wonder you are aching. Long soak in a hot bath follwed by bed and a hot water bottle is always good - if the evening isn't too muggy.
Well done on it though, that is some achievement ![]()
Thanks. The next hike is planned to be 17 miles...then 19...then 21...
The final challenge walk is 35 miles - it's not due to take place until the beginning of September; and we will have a support crew and vehicle.
Take some magnesium, it helps against sore muscles. Don't know about the UK but you can find those fizzy tablets (effervescent tablets) in almost any store here. One before the walk, one after, and one every following day for maybe two or three days ought to do the trick
Thanks for the tip: I'll check it out.
